  6. Euterpe is a sequencer for use by bands and home studio musicians. Focus
  7. has been put on composition and Midi interfacing. This version provides a much
  8. better audio support and a documentation update.
  9.  
  10. The distribution of Euterpe now contains the following files :
  11. Euterpe.lha         main archive with 68000 version
  12. Euterpe020.lha      contains the 020 optimized executables
  13. Euterpef20.lha      contains the 020+fpu optimized executables
  14. EuterpeDeutsch.lha  contains the german translation
  15.  
  16. The recommended method is to unarc the main archive first in order to allow
  17. the optimized executables to overwrite the 68000 ones.

  63. some new features might appear later, some described here are not yet
  64. completed and a few other might be removed.

  66. Actually the Midi part is limited for filters.

  68. Euterpe is shareware, you will find all the necessary informations in
  69. the .guide file.

  72. Since the previously uploaded version :
  73.  
  74. Some gadgets were not compatibles with the MCP gadtools option.
  75. Recompiled with SAS/C 7.01
  76. The metroonome settings was not saved with instruments.
  77. The channels numbers were sometimes displayed on a white background.
  78. The FFT module was guruing if no sample was loaded.
  79. The AREXX file Euterpe:REXX/start.muse will be launched at the beginning of
  80. the program if it exists.
  81. Some error messages were mismatching.
  82. New option BESTMODEID to use with the Pictures instrument if you want the
  83. pictures to be displayed in the same mode than the public Euterpe screen.
  84. For example, a PAL picture will be displayed in DbLPAL if your Euterpe screen
  85. uses such mode.
  86. Some keybpard shortcuts have changed (Pause is assigned to the ESC key)
  87. NoteOff 9x support (for DX7 and Running Status).
